Junior Boys have released 'KISS ME ALL NIGHT' EP today, and it contains some of their best jams yet...
Taking one more lap before the summer's out, this EP follows critically acclaimed album Big Black Coat. Junior Boys' Jeremy Greenspan has also worked on the album Oh No with his collaborator JESSY LANZA and the But Wait There's More EP with Borys, both of which influence this new EP.
Now, just in time for an extended US tour in September and October as well as additional European dates, Junior Boys return with this brand new EP. It starts with two extraordinary retro-futuristic tunes - 'Yes' and 'Baby Fat' - plus a proper recording of a live favourite: their cover of John Martyn's 'Some People Are Crazy'. It's rounded off by the Paisley Park infused title track 'Kiss Me All Night'. Kiss Me All Night is out digitally today and will be available on limited vinyl in September. Autumn tour dates in our tourdates section!

What he is not, however — despite multiple press reports to the […] READ ON

This new wave of Tuareg musicians sound very different to the desert distortion that accompanies groups like Mdou Moctar or Group Inerane. Instead, it finds a calm and passionate soul, provides sumptuous slow burners, and a complexity of composition that hasn’t been demonstrated […] READ ON
“It took me 15 fucking years to feel brave enough to do this!” Joel Wästberg, the Swedish producer behind the eccentric sir Was alias, confesses. “To reach the point where I could let myself do this was a long struggle. But once I felt less scared, it was kind of easy. It just came out, like: ‘This is the sound!’”
