Our hearty congratulations go out to Montreal's ARCADE FIRE, who last night won the ultimate music critic's accolade: the Grammy for the BEST ALBUM OF THE YEAR, upsetting the likes of Eminem, Katy Perry as well as Lady Antebellumgaga. Today, with that extra piece of carry-on, they are flying to London to perform at tomorrow’s Brit Awards ceremony where they will hopefully turn this into a winning streak...!

Wednesday February 16, they will travel on to Berlin to attend the official world premiere of their self-produced shortfilm "Scenes From The Suburbs", directed by no other than Spike Jonze.

Celebrated director Spike Jonze teamed up with Arcade Fire to create a thirty-minute short film inspired by their award winning album, The Suburbs, and its themes of war and coming of age in suburbia. Co-written by Jonze & Arcade Fire’s Will Butler & Win Butler, this companion piece to the album follows the narrator, living in a suburban dystopia, trying to piece together fragmented memories from when he was a teenager, and his experiences with his friends as they grow apart.
