Release 'MR. N.', Announce Extended Tour of Europe!

October 17, 2012

Lambchop are going on tour in Europe this fall (see the dates below) and asked their producer Mark Nevers to creatively tinker with or rather re-envision the 2012 masterpiece that is 'Mr. M.'

Mr. Nevers  came back with 22 minutes of abstractness which in Mr. Nevers assessment: " ended up owing just as much to Carl Stalling the great sound track composer of 1940's cartoons - which is only fitting since i spend most of my time in a cartoon universe "  Indeed, a universe  we all love, and Lambchop fans will love too, as a complement to the sonic majesty of said Mr. M.

All tour dates, tracklisting, and more info after the jump!!
This is the track listing as both Titled and Created by Mr. Nevers from the existing sounds of Mr. M:

1. Suicide Lasts Forever
2. Dishes To Wash Music To
3. Prelude To My Hallucination
4. The Coral Castle

MR. N. will be available digitally through all retailers and services.

Kurt Wagner asked for comment had this to say:
" this one's been Marky's "baby" from start to finish which is appropriate cause he just had an actual baby "

Mark Nevers has this to say:
"The Coral Castle is the best thing since Good Vibrations. Brian Wilson will get a boner."

Mr. Wilson was not available for comment.

Mark's baby gives it 2 drools up!

Lambchop

Official Video for "2B2" Premiered Today!

April 11, 2012

"2B2" is one of Lambchop’s magnificent musical moments on their triumphant return, Mr. M.  Zack Spiger, who also single-handedly shot the highly acclaimed video for "Gone Tomorrow", took it upon himself to visualize this song as well...

However, he’s following a different path with this one. "2B2", the video, captures intimate moments of the band's recent European tour. We’re following Kurt Wagner and his cohorts through the calm moments before the shows, onto the stage, up to the finale and the peaceful moments afterwards.

Parts of the footage taken with support from:
